Academic Day
Protected didactic and interactive learning time. First hour is a lecture given by one of our in-house fellows and the second hour is rotating journal club, academic activity, simulation activity and M&M.

Journal Club
Discuss pertinent and practice changing articles and learn to analyze research parameters, study strength and design.

Academic Activity
Senior resident prepares a lecture and reading materials beforehand and then review applicable MKSAP questions as a group.

Simulation Activity
Interactive simulation activities that take place in our state-of-the-art simulation laboratory. Including central and arterial lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture as well as ultrasound training.

Morbidity and Mortality
Discussion of complicated clinical cases that led to unintended outcomes.

Grand Rounds
Guest lecturer presenting updated guidelines and/or techniques in their field of expertise.

Morning Report
Academic internal medicine service discuss an admission from the night before, including initial work-up and evaluation.

Resident Tumor Board
Two residents, junior and senior, present interesting oncological cases with the help of attending oncologists.

Oncology Grand Rounds
Guest lecturer presents on updates in their oncological field of expertise.

Monthly Activities
